BWCAW - Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness

A federal and state cooperatively managed area of recreation along the border of MN and Ontario, open to canoe enthusiasts, adventurers, "voyageaurs", and the anyone interested in prestine beauty. Like a park, only controlled entering (permits) and strict regulation geered towrard preservation and "leaving no trace."

I spent my childhood summers camping on the lakes of Ontario - just a magical place....and those skies are something else - thanks for the nostalgia.....I think I will have to plan a trip for next year!
