The one thing I like about Long Island...being 5 min. from the beach. Don't think there is anything better than just lying a few feet from the water on the sand and reading a book or resting untill the sun sets.

Well, me and my bf were drivin up a road, just to add to that I live on an island in a small town, very remote as a way to put it. Only way out is eather by ferry or jet. Born here, raised and never want to live anywhere else. I'm sure the pics tell you why I never want to leave. It really is a beautiful place. Anyway, we were just drivin up one of our recreation roads back up into the mountains and there were about maybe 6 Eagles sittin in trees by the side of the road. Not sure why there were sittin there, something was there that attracted them. It was winter so they were looking for food most likely.
