| | Moderator | Thanks Kate. I have a dinosaur of a camera One of the old Sony Mavicas that takes a floppy disc Now that they have quit making floppys I guess I'll have to get a new camera.

| | Moderator | Amaryllis This is Amaryllis from my garden. I used a Nikon 35mm for the shots. I wish photos of my aquariums would turn out this well. Since I've had this camera (less than 1 year) flowers seem to be the best that I can photograph. I'll keep practicing!
I pollinated these guys myself this year. They actually went to seed. The seeds looked like little black paper wafers and just as thin. I was very surprised. Normally these plants are sold around Christmas time, come in a box as a bulb with a pot and a little dirt. Very easy to grow. I'm in zone 8 and they come back every year. carol | The butterfly came out great, I do believe that is a Eastern Tiger Swallow, but you may know for sure? My raccoon Sassy.. I really loved her, she was so sweet. That photo was from the first day that I met her, as she was peeking through the lattice work of my deck. |

| | Fish Bum | More pics The first picture is of a flower I saw as I was leaving the zoo.
The 2cd is of a beautiful moth or butterfly I found while getting my craft shed ready. Sadly, it was dying. I had never seen one like it and ran to get my camera. If any one knows what kind it is please let me know. The picture doesn't do it justice.
The 3rd picture is of two ostrich at the zoo.
I have a Canon power shot.
I really enjoy looking at every ones pics. |
