What the heck is swimming in my cichlid tank?

I think what you are looking for is the name, and is it compatable.

Its a psuedochromis hippochromis. Non aggressive species that just likes to lay in the tank while the others do all the work.
It is compatable with pretty much all malawi species.....
BTW How big is your tank? I am hoping at least 5 gallons....

The hippo is from the San Antonio Zoo. They have a great new area called Africa Live... lots of cool fish... oh and hippos too! We took the kids there over the weekend. They have just redone the aquarium there as well. It was a little too dark to get good photos, however.

I just couldn't resist posting the hippo pics.

brine shrimp and cichlid pellets pale in comparison to hippo poo and belly button lint.
