That LFS needs to be introduced to this: Responsible Fishkeeping Inititive
Baby Red-tail catfish can reach 4 ft and weigh 75 Lbs. Can you imagine an adult ?
This is one of my pet peeves. LFS that sell these beautiful huge fish that can't be taken care of in home aquaria. They need at the very least an 8ft tank.

Wow impressive fish.

I figure the Rainbow Shark to be among the few FW "sharks" easy to keep at most home tanks. The Colombian Shark likely makes it in a 6 footer. Iridiscent Sharks also grow huge. I didn't know the Red Tails got this big so thanks for posting this pic.

I wouldn't get the red tailed catfish, (don't know if you were planning to) and if it were me I would talk to the owners about carrying such large fish, its really irresponsible of them. And I don't recognize the shark...

Oh no I'm definitely not crazy to get the BIG fish ... they are absolutely lovely to look at but owning them would put me out of $$ if I had to buy the proper setup.

Whenever I see these big fish I always have to take a picture

I don't like when SW sharks are kept in tanks. Seems so cruel.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that they don't, this is a different type of fish. Red-Tailed Shark isn't the same as a Red-Tailed Catfish.
