well today for Rick's birthday, we had a lovely Stay-Cation! Where you're on vacation, but you stay home.

we went to the Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific

OMG!!! there were so many magnificant fish that i ran out of memory on my camera!!

the proximty to the amazing fish is mind blowing!!

We had a GREAT TIME!!! would have stayed longer, had there not been like 5000 kids under the age of 8. busloads and busloads of them. we could only take so long of the squealing, but other than that, it was FUN!!!

After that we went to Gladstones for a delicious lunch, then drinks at the beach, then an impromptu poker and drinking party at our house with all his friends.

I went there a couple of months ago. I loved it!! My boyfriend thought I was nuts but I ran around taking pictures of all the fish!
