We have a nice little group of wild pets outside as well. Squirrels, birds including wild parrots (they are hard to photograph) and occasional racoons which is pretty good considering we live in the city at the beach. Here's a couple of pic's of Rocky the squirrel who is feeding at the feeder I put in the tree right outside our front door. He visits almost everyday during spring and summer.

Squirrels are cute.. suicidal, but cute.

we had a black squirrel that was always hanging around for 3 years, she would come and lays down in the grass by the patio and waits for peanuts. I didn't see her last year.... Wild parrots that sounds cool i would like to have that up here but its too cold. If you do get any pics id like to see that.

whats funny is our little chihuahua spike, he loves squirrels. when we go to the park, we say, "where's the squirrel?" and he looks up in all the trees and stands on his hind legs looking up the tree for his little furry friends. i think Rick has a picture of this somewhere.

I tried to take a pic of the parrots the other day..........They get high in the tree and spook real easy but we're working on it. The story goes, years ago one of these things got loose about a 1/4 mile from our house right across the street from the beach and took up shop in this big palm tree. That one turned into about 50 or 60 now and they fly right over our house every morning squaking as loud as they can. They dig the little berries that grow in our tree in the spring.

Nice shots. The squirrels here are tiny but so brave. They'll run right up you at one our parks down the road. They are psychos.

How cute! I saw the first squirrel ever in our back yard the other day, he was in the back of the garden (I wonder what he was after? lol)
