Yeah I got it for free. I bought a neon tetra and got it for free. Over here they don't have any more tank room for it and resorted to putting it in pots, those feeder fish tanks, and these little containers. They are overrun with all the plants so they give you a free plant with every fish you buy. 2$ fish = 2$ worth of plant 3$ fish = 3$ worth of plant, and it goes on until your out of money. They actually gave me the first fish I had in that tank for free!

not much actually, but their tanks have high lighting, so it actually becomes a bother

my LFS has java moss in almost every tank, and it's usually in excess. On a very bad day, they'll give out java moss for free lol. Otherwise its 3 bucks a ball.

Lol my friend really wants a tank and my cousins fish tank broke! He of course wants to get another fish tank because all he has now is a 5 gallon and the fish he used to have all died. I think part of me got a tank because of me just to beat him. We both started with a betta bowl and then to a 10 gallon tank. Of course mine is better because he had fake plants. He is giving me the cover, light, and filter! Hopefully I could use the filter on my Saltwater to improve water circulation. You should collect change. I got 12 of it but paying was ridiculous.

I find that offering a fish as a gift is like a terrible virus. I've offered a betta to one person, and 3 fancy goldfish to another. Both of them now crave either a larger tank, or another tank!

My friend really wanted to work at our LFS but he never goes and is a fish newbie. He has kept fish before but I tout him a few things. I do yard work but that isn't quite enough. I get people into fish keeping. Lets see there is my cousin who recently had a terrible tank accident, my friend whom i got back into fishkeeping, and I hope I will get many more people into it. I wonder how many fishkeepers there are at my school. I ask the neighbors all the time if they wantto get in to fishkeeping. They did once, but all the fish died.
