thanks ,i just got a new book i brought from ebay "freshwater anglefishes"by dr h r axelrod &dr w e burgess ,and last week i brought the "complete book of freshwater aquarium" by vincent b hargreaves of a action site in oz was very happy to get the both books cheap the last one $29.00au (secondhand like new condition" on a amazon books site it was $62.00 us+shipping so i very happy with my shopping is there any books u recommend ?

I have never heard of anLFS changing ALL the water every week before.They also don't worry about cycling issues.They go through thousands of fish every month,and have large filtration units,so replacing the water isn't necessary and they know that. I am not saying they're lying,but I doubt that's what they actually do.The sales people are supposed to sound knowledgeable,but seldom are and the things that come out of their mouth is normall gibberish anyway.

hi and merry xmas ,i would like to ask u a ?as it been on my mind how can it be ??i went to the LFS and was told that they clean there tanks every week take all the water out clean the gravel put new water back in .what about cycling ?i asked and was told that the fish are fine (?)i dont know if they wash the filter medium ?,i did find one dead fish but how can this be ?as i only learning i just have to ask ?i wont be buying fish at that shop .feeling abit confused thanks for your time
