Ok great. I have java moss and java fern that I got for that tank, so I'll probably put them in today. I was thinking about using anacharis too, so I'll just keep that one open as a possibility if I get the other two to do well. Might also get some for my FW tanks too...
    Thanks for the help

Really? Wow. I tried that once and the plant looked horrible, so I moved it back to fw and it was fine. Maybe it was just the lighting though. I have upgraded it. Thanks for the response

    Hi SDS
I was wondering, I know you have a planted brackish tank, and I'm attempting to do the same thing right now. How did you acclimate your plants to the salt, and over how long a period?
    Thanks

Hey SDS, I've found a site I thought might interest you. As far as I know, it's not related to Pufferpunk, but it mentions gsps as liking marine when adults in the species section. http://home.earthlink.net/~snebluemoon/index.htm
I have also talked to many other longtime owners of gsps, and they have all highly suggested higher salinity brackish and marine conditions for them, saying they were healthier and more resistant to disease.
I wish there wasn't so much confusing info out there so that we could know for sure.

Thanks for the advice on adding more gravel to the tank I need to quietly add another inch or two in parts of the tank and then get planting. Should have done it at the beginning. Oh well.

    Thanks again

A koi in a 20 gal will out grow it immediately as you know. He might be ok in a 50. The 200 you're waiting for sounds amazing. You can even get him a buddy. : )

Hello sirdarksol! I was hoping to find pictures of your tanks and koi pond? Am I not looking in the right spot? : )
Thanks for all your great suggestions.
