- Hey I have a question and you seem like the guy who would have an answer. I was wondering if you could tell me about how much wattage I need on a planted 30gal to keep my plants nice and healthy and growing without baking my fish, killing them with UV rays, or having an algea problem. Also there is no sunlight.
