Depending on the size of your tank, i would be carefull with the C. Pleco they can grow quite large, so you might want to go with a bristlenose instead since it stays smaller.
I have 3 BA tetras "inherited" and intended to get a school of Neons or Cardinals. Also Corys, a C. Pleco, MTS and shrimps. I have added a lot of Java Ferns.
That sounds like a good idea, i have neons and cardinals mixed in my tank, cories also, they are very fun to watch. You should try to mix it up though, add a few small schools of different types of tetras and they will look beautiful.
