hey scuba's!!! the more you take, the faster it happens...are you keeping both tanks ? if I were you and you can get it, id move as much media, decorations, and get a bottle of TSS for $13 and add it all with your fish...but if your media is coming from a tank larger than the one its going too, it should be instant...if its smaller, id give it a few days of feeding with ammonia or some other food source to make sure its cycled...

I havent moved on to the bigger fish yet. I only have mollies, guppies, and tetras. I think that they would love the rock and all the little hidding places it will provide in my 55 gallon. I am using the 29 gallon for my fry and I have a ton of them because the fish are so happy they keep having babies hahaha! Not only that, I would like to house some angel fish in the 29 and let the fry hide in the rock and plants once the 55 is all done and set to go with rock and good plant coverage.

Hi there, I was wondering where you get the rocks you have in your tank? I cant seem to find any of those. The only things I can find are the lava rock and driftwood at my LFS.

Hey Navyscuba..im not quite sure what your question is about the betta's ...the boys will build bubble nests and some girls do also...girls will have a white spot under their belly near the anal area and yes she fills with eggs even if never bred with a male
