hey there. sorry it took me a while to reply but i haven't signed on to fishlore for a while. how long ago did you buy the tank? the cloudy water just seems like a bacteria bloom. the bacteria beneficial so you shouldn't be worried. don't buy anything to get rid of the cloudy water. just stick in there and the bacteria will move to the filter. don't change the filter as this could set you back in the cycling process.

do you know anything about the nitrogen cycle? please check the main page of this forum (www.fishlore.com) for information on this. how many fish do you have in there? there's many concerns with cycling the tank with fish. it isn't wrong but it's not the safest way. you haven't done anything wrong. use the forum to help you with any concerns. you can keep posting profile messages and i will reply if that's what you'd like.
