    Hello Mike, I am very new at having a Salt water tank and I had a ?. Right now my Ammonia level is at 0.50. What is the best way to get the Ammonia level down. This is what I have 125Gal tank, live sand, one live rock 7 damsels and one trigger. My tanks is 2 1/2 weeks old.

    So I looked up more info on it and I cant find anything. The store I work at doesnt sell them any longer because it nearly burned the house down of one of our customers. I was under the false impression that they were not that popular anymore. I will have to ask my boss what our store thinks is wrong with them because everything I just read on line says the retrofits come with water proof end caps and the lights do not heat up too much and are safer than MH's. I will get back to you if I find out anything.

    Ditto! Just now realized there were all these fun profiles. Interesting to find out I post 2.21 post a day Random-- noticed you use T5 lighting on your 55 gallon, I had been told that those were a bit of a fire hazard and not used as often anymore. Just curious if you had heard that, I dont know that much about it I just was told that.

    mike i was just wondering if you can help me out i have a copper banned butter fish that has some thing that to me look like a grain of sand on his fin we can take it off and the next day there another one on him am i right in thinking it lice or is it ich as some said in my thread i posted yesturday
    need help as boyfriends going away soon and i am scare that it something bad and he come back and fish well not be there no more
