im sorry for troubling u wif stupid questions...but i really need to know...i ve been watching my male betta..he never picked up the eggs from the tank bottom...does that mean that the eggs will not survive or is it possible that they will be picked up much later and can still hatch? i know it sounds dumb...do appreciate ur comments though...

Hi..i ve been recommended to u by a very helpful reader... Im new here..and i have a few questions.. My bettas have spawned and I realised that lots of eggs are lying on the bottom of the tank...partly due to the father messing up and disturbing his own nest...I just covered my aquarium wif a plastic cover...its now tightly sealed..My betta wont suffocate..will he? And wat are my chances of the fry surviving if the water is cold? I ve also been observing the father approaching the nests couple of times and seems to me that he's eating the eggs..is that possible??My female betta on the other hand has not been eating for the past 3 days..The reason we decided to spawn her was because i realised her belly was swelled up..so i thought its time...n i went on wif my instincts...she did expell eggs though it was not much...However even now after spawning she has not eaten...wat shud i do?I ve no idea how i can help my bettas...pl help me out..i m desperate...

They look like true percs to me too... They're very cute!!!
I've heard that true percs can get a bit aggressive, but I think they'd be ok with GSPs

    Hey MM,
You said you have clownfish and wanted to know if GSPs would work with them, I believe....
What kind of clowns are they? Percs, false percs, ocellaris, etc?
