I just wanted to bother you and ask you some questions. You were helping me earlier today hope its not a bother? So my tank is about 2 weeks old when I first started the tank I used tap water conditioner to clean the water out, i put in 30 gallons of treated water then added this product that my local fish store sold to me called TLC it has bacteria in it. I let it sit for about to be honest 2 days and I couldnt wait and added 1o fishes. 7 glo fishes, 4 blue tetras, and 4 other fishes that i have no idea there names. Ok so with in 3 days after adding them 1 blue tetra died, and 1 of the other 4 fishes died. :< Well its been 2 weeks now and no other fish has died but my water is cloudy (white shade to it) I did a 10% water change with my gravel vacum. Oh yeah i feed my fish two times a day? Is that to much food for these fishs? So all in all my tank is 2 weeks old cloudy water, 13 small fishes amonia is low 0.25 am i on the right track? When will my water clear out? Sorry for all the questions but i do not want to lose any more fish.

PS I almost forgot i have 2, twenty gallon bio wheel fitlers running and i am looking to add a 3rd 100 gallon acua clear 300 filter but i will not put a carbon media just sponge media and bio max media.

Lucy! I need help with my tank. Like Anne, I can't get rid of the ammo. Its down to .15, Nitrites and Nitrates at 0. Should I stick with the 50% water changes?

Hmmmm...no, I didn't... if it's coming from the tap water, what should I do Oulala!!! But I use Prime every time I change the water though....

It's Anne again... It's been 3 months since I had my fish tank, and as you know I had a few troubles cycling it... Right now the nitrite level is @ 0, Nitrate @ 5, and the ammo @ 1... Although I made regular water change (25%), I cannot get rid of the ammo! I use Prime as a conditionner, I try not to disturb the rocks too much when I change the water... I really don't know what to do with that ammonia problem... any suggestions? Thanks!!!!!

Lucy... random question... would you say that discus and neon's can share the same tank?

Aquabid you say? So I buy bettas over the net from then and they ship them out? I have NEVER done that. Is it safe? easy? reliable?

I'll have a chat to her and find out. If I lived in the US I guess it would have been easier - sigh

Hi there. So how do I get hold of a Betta that is not a cup baby? Between my fish store and myself we cannot get hold of anyone who breeds Bettas in our area. Would it be a real bad idea to try and bread with cup baby male and female?
