I saw in one of your old posts that you were considering getting a snail. Did you ever get one? I don't know if I want to add a snail to my list of eventual tank occupants or not... They said that if you stuck a piece of cooked lettuce in the tank they would eat it in no time & wondered if they'd do that to aquatic plants as well!

Hi Lucy, I wanted to thank you so much for helping me. My husband is at the pet store buying me aquatic plants & I'm so excited. I wish I could go but I have a broken knee cap & stuck at home. I think having this aquarium will really lift my spirits! I hope it looks good!

Hi there. I remember a thread a while ago about brown algae forming in a newly cycled tank... I just can't seem to find it. I need it now. My 200l tank has been running for 2 months now but I have not put fish in yet... but there is brown algae forming on the plants and sides. I remember that thread explained what it was and how to get rid of it. I just want to know if its a problem and if I can just let my pleco lose in the thank to sort it out... or do I have to clean the tank and start over... I just can't remember where to find that thread.
