    well i got 2 15 watt bulbs for a 10 gallon tank so it should be ok

    If the bulbs are good it won't overheat the tank. They're just a pair of 30W white light, so I don't think its overheating.

    Umm no, there's usually enough natural light in my room... then when it gets dark enough I turn on the tank light and use it as a bedroom light.
