I couldn't really tell by the pic, about his curl, either the pic is too large, or it's my computer.

I use the first one you showed me. I can't comment on the second one, I've never used it.
You may want to make a new thread and ask if anyone has used that brand.
Your new tank is really cute, but not big enough for a betta. It's 1g, like the bowl?

Yes, that's the test I was refering to, but I've never seen walmart carry it in the store, just online.

You can get the test kits at most any fish store. Try to get the API master kit, it's very reliable. Don't get the strips, they're inaccurate. They have them on the Walmart website, and I think they'll deliver it to the store closest to you for free and you can pick it up there. It's the cheapest I've seen them.

I can't wait to see Bleuroux's new tank. He's going to love it. If you added raw shrimp to help cycle it, there may be too much of a build up of ammonia for him. Before putting him in the tank, have your water checked. It might be best for him to stay in him little temp home with frequent water changes and let his new home complete it's cycle.

It's ok. You received poor advice from the pet store and started on the wrong foot. What counts it you're learning

Hi, thanks for the request. Your betta is beautiful. Any plans to upgrade him to a tank?
