Hi Kate, Another addenda to the whole 'phosphate disaster' was that I lost my smaller Bristlenose Catfish from it as well...... I was warned that this might happen! He/she seemed to just never thrive or grow or get around much at all, and I wasn't surprised to find him 'cactus' dead on the bottom one morning, just a little sad! I do plan on getting another, since they are my cleanup fish......I also wondered if you have ever tried the Undergravel Biological Filtration method as I recommended? If you want to know more and they aren't available where you live, please just ask me and I will be happy to do my best to describe how they work, how to get one etc, from my old but good book by the inventor......After your wonderful info sheet about the Discus!....God Bless you and thanx again! Cheers Jewels

glad to hear that your RTS is doing better. 31c was probably a little too warm for him and he was just uncomfortable for awhile. They do normally prefer temps of 72-79*F (22-26*c) so he must have been sluggish at the higher temp. I will now go and check out the [phosphate discus disaster etc) But any Happy Outcome.. has got to be good! :-)

Hi Kate, I added it as a PS on the bottom of "Phosphate Discus Disaster", calling it 'Happy Outcome'... I hope it got posted properly, it seemed to be after I posted it. Cheers Jewels
