Don't worry about it (responding), Patience is my new teacher. My LFS has chocholates but I have read that, as you said, they can be finicky for prestine H2O, do you think your sparklings are any more or less tolerant of non-RO H2O? How is your water in KY? I've been using $$ distilled in jugs $.73-$.99/ gallon x 5 every 7-14 days. I'll let you get back to studies/ exams now I bet, Good Luck.
    Thanks, Dave

Hey I was just searching for gourami and found you. I have a 29 gallon and two of the fish I have in it are a Flame Gourami and a Powder Blue Gourami. I was wondering if both gourami are female, my sis says they are because the dorsel dorsal fins (to her) seem to be more round but it doesn't look that way to me. The fish lure profile says the females are less colorful then the males (again that makes me think there males). Is there any way to really know for sure if I have females or males?

I usually get 8, and QT them for 2 weeks, then add at the end, then another 2 the next day, then 2 more the day after and so on. You have to be very careful, but its better than never acctualy getting to 8 hatchets because you lose them all the time!
