Hey Jeff, haven't seen you around in a while how you been

Not sure... the neons are loving up the food but the gouramis don't seem interested. Of course it's one of the gouramis that are ill. I swear you could feed neons anything and they'd eat it.

hows the internal parasite meds working, just noticed we joined on the exact day, well maybe i signed up before due to time zone differences haha.

Any guess as to what caused the spike?

wow -29 we have temps of 99F+ here, im also having some tank trouble, really high ammonia and nitrite spikes .

Neons look healthy and are schooling very well. They were scheduled to join the main tank yesterday but do to current weather conditions I’ve had to postpone things. The plan was to transfer the neons to the 35g and restock the q-tank with 2 more neons and 2 honey gouramis. But the current temperature here is -29°, a bit cool to be heading out for more fish. It looks like the temperature is here to stay for several days so it’s looking like they will be staying put for at least a few more days.

LOL Mike, I still haven't figured out the forum. Been so concerned with fish I haven't figured out the forum yet. Friends, PM, Albums, etc. are coming to me slowly.

Neons are holding steady at 6 for about 3 days now. So it is encouraging but confusing at the same time. If it wasn’t NTD that killed the first 5 I have no ideal what they suffered from. I haven’t posted any updates because I skeptical about their survival. I will keep you posted though and thanks for asking.
