Thanks ... that lighting was by mistake ... when I first started, the LFS sent me home with marine lighting ... but I ended up liking it ...

Yes, those pics of the Rainbow Fish are almost a year old. They have grown quite a bit since then. I really enjoy those guys.

hey dee. sorry for the late reply but no i dont have pics of my discus just yet. im waiting for them to grow abit more, only about 3" atm. will have some up when they hit 5" or so

i have new pictures on the way , new discis ,rainbow fish plus an 8" oscar .its been a while since ive been on fishlore so ive a lot of updating to do !

well at the moment its still just running. i seeded it using my other 2 tanks. its been running for 2 weeks now. I used glass pebbles for the bottom and I have some plants that I'll put in there. but thats about it for now. what ever i want to do or use I'll have to buy.

I'm terrified of getting discus!! they are pretty expensive.... i'm so scared that they will die! I had 2 gouramis and they just died for no apparent reason - well from what I could tell.
what if i mess it up??

your pics are nice too! do you have parrots and discus together? or are the parrots in a separate tank?
