Mine is a Koi angel as well. I adopted him when a former manager of mine moved away.

I have a picture of him in my pictures now if you want to check him out.

Wow sounds like you have been busy. We actually got two 55 gallons recently. One is a fry tank for me and the other is a cichlid tank for her. She is doing Malawi cichlids though. But keep your eyes peeled for a female Ice Blue cichlid.

I bought my angels at about 4 inches and they were fine when introduced at that size. Koi angels are very pretty angels but can also get pricey. If you see Altum angels anywhere those are absolutely AMAZING fish.

Glad to hear the fry are doing well. You should post some pics of your fish and tanks so we can see all of your new ones.

They are great! I thought I lost two of them somehow, but i spotted all three at once yesterday. I usually only see one at a time and I think its the same one every time. The other two have just found better hiding spots. I like these guys so much that I ordered 6 more online. These have wild caught parents. If you are interested in inserting some new blood in your breeding project I could help you out. I've been going a little crazy buying fish lately, and ordered some dwarf cichlids, which I only plan on keeping a breeding pair when they pair off, so if you are ever thinking about getting into cichlids I can help you out there too.

Oh yeah, I couldn't figure out where to go to leave feedback for you after the sale.

also, I might be interested in some Angels at some point. I have a single angel and have been thinking about getting another at some point, though I'm not real sure how angels take to being introduced when fully grown.

Alright, that was more than you asked for so I'll go now.

    Your welcome.

I wouldn't put them in with your EBJD yet if thats what you are talking about. He might enjoy a 21 dollar snack haha. If you supplement them with algae wafers then they should be alright. Also they LOVE cucumbers and succhini. That is all that I feed them.

The water sprite with the larger leaves can be rooted but I float all of mind. The root system develops better when floated and it provides good cover for small fish and fry.

The Thinner leaved, tall water sprite should be rooted. You can float it but I dont reccommend doing so.

But if you get a few slices of cucumber or zuchinni (sp?) ( no more than 2 at a time) and rubberband it to a rock or a piece of driftwood and leave it in the tank. They will eat that. Take it out once they eat it all or if it has been more than a week and it is still uneaten replace it with new ones.

If you need anything else just leave me another message.

Thanks for meeting me today. The plecs are acclimating in their new home. I'm looking around online to make sure it will be ok for them in there since I treated for a Algae a couple of days ago. I'm a little nervous about putting them in my quarintine tank, since its actually over stocked, and I'd lose them in the rest of my tanks, so I want to put them their permanent home, but that's the one I treated for algae.

Also, I had a question about the water sprite. Do you just let it float or bury it in your substrate?

I have a Dr.'s appointment at 11:00 o'clock tomorrow and It could last anywhere between 1 and 2 hours so anytime after that I could meet up with you to get those plants and fry. If I don't hear from you before I leave in the morning I'll just leave my number so you can contact me.

    Thanks, again.
