i just thought wont my water be really dirtycause i have no skimmer?

so take out the the dividers out as well so its just water in the filter?

so i if run it empty would if reduce nitrates?

hey i have plenty of live rock and a 4 inch sand bed ......and i just have corase media in my canister filter.

should i keep the media or just run the filter empty?

Well I am still considering my options I think I might want to go larger than the XP2 and I am still searching and reading about some issues with the Renas leaking after a few years. I will let you know if I decide to buy from you. This PM system is strange. Not like the other forums I go too.
