I did not take that video. I found it on You Tube and I thought it was awesome, so I just had to share with the rest of the Fish Lore folks!

I am sorry about your lost of power the other day. Thanks for the advice the other day. I manage to add some crushed coral and so far I got my pH from 6 to 6.4. I am going to try and see if I could get it up to 6.8 slowly. I hope I don't get any swings in ph. You think this coral trick will work? Thank you Again.

I just got an idea. Would you recommend that I put a hand full of crushed coral in my filter to act as a buffer? I read somewhere that crush coral will slowly raise my ph.

your welcome...only other concern is making sure no other meds or chemicals are in the tank..and that your ph is as close to 7 as can be...do you know your ph? the reason I ask is under 7 is ammonium and not ammonia and TSS needs ammonia to feed the live bacteria....I wish you well !

Thanks for the advice. I did a 40% water change this morning so I should be all set to add the tss tomorrow morning? Anything else I should be concerned with?
