    im not sureon the nitrates it has benset up over a week..... i just went in to feed themand they were in the middle of the tank swimmin around(until i went in and they ran and hid lol) i have washedsome of my fake plants from my freshwater aquarium and put them into the SW...they seem to be moving more since its been 24 hrs since they went in

    p.s. thesnail just keeps roaming though lol it is kinda funny

    my water paraeters are 1.025 SG,0 ammonia.8 pH they are supposedly perfect according to the store

    so my fish are stressd will they get over this in a few days? or a week? all of the parameters are good....... the only thing that ould be wrong is the whole transfer of tanks...which is probably the cause but if u have answer please pm me...thx

    is 18 whats of lighting good for a ten gallon tank. the dimensions are 16x8.5x10.

    yo i got theskimmer its an aqua medic turboflotor 750 but it didnt come with instructions its brand new in the box think there may be instructions on the net?

    The protein skimmer doesn't remove the physical food it self. That's your clean up crews job, but while the food is in the water, It releases nutrients that promotes algae growth and the skimmer does remove that and the skimmer does clear the water a lot.

    so the protein skimmer would help remove un eaten food that floats around before it settels.
