Your sister is right about the fins...the females will have rounded dorsal and anal fins. The males will have a very distinct point. If you look at the powder blue in the pictures of my fish, it is a male. I know the pictures aren't the greatest, but I hope it helps you some. I've never heard of the females being less colorful...I'm not saying that's not a possibility though.

Lalboon - You should name some of your female fish flower names like Tulip, Violet, etc.

Aro - Does Nahacky's sell pool sand? You should clean up your tank earlier in the morning tomorrow so when we go to get my water tested, you'll have everything ready to buy the rest of your equipment.

Hey lalboon. I dont have any fish at the moment but i just got my new tank. its going to have some Dwarf puffers otto and most of the other fish im not so sure about.

Guppy fry (assuming they are like platy fry) are fairly fast - you could try them on your puffer as long as you are sure they are disease fish. You may get into guppys just as fish soon enough - they are very cool.
