In answer to your questions I'll start by asking why is the tank cold? You must have a heater when spawning set at 80 degrees...As far as the eggs sitting on the bottom it is quite unlikely they will survive..The eggs must be truned every few minute in order for them to avoid developing fungud...This is why the father is constantly tending to the nest...

How many days ago did they spawn? Did you see an actual wrap? In the future just know it is not necessary to breed to get a female to release her eggs...Just put her in clear view of a male and she will usually drop on her own....Just make sure you remove all the eggs so they don't develope fungus and make the female sick...

the way to post a thread is to click on fish forum home (the first part of the long blue bar at the top). then navigate to the particular forum you want to post in (for example, you'd want to find the betta section), and then click on that. once you click on that, right above all of the threads that have been posted there is a button that says "new thread" just click on that and you'll be able to start a new thread
