I know she has 12 females, but I am not sure if all are in the tank.
I had 4 females and it didn't work...I'd go with 6-8 in that size tank. I think I am going to use the theory for Lake Malawi African cichlids: more fish spread out the aggression. So has long as you r have enough filtration and can do lot of water changes. There has to be a way for it to work. Other people don't have problems.
When I do the 33g I am going with 8-10. I am hoping that one of the breeders here with have a spawn with lots of females.

Allie,Your friend with the 29 gallon sorority...how many girls does she have in that tank? The reason I ask is it has been suggested that I get 4 more girls to minimize the aggression(not that I've seen any yet)
Thanks is advance for your help!
