    Thanks for the info on apple snails =)
    I've only dealt with the little small snails that usually come in with new live plants... I guess I shouldnt assume that all snails are created equal lol.

    What kind of supplements?

    Another question, you know how mollys and platys and such its recommended to use aquarium salt? I have a hard time explaining to customers WHY they need to do it. Suggestions?

    Its going to be hard because I don't really have a fish tank at the moment. My passion is rats really.
