how high do you have the temperatures for your goldfish? they're coldwater so if the tank is higher than 72 or so it won't be as healthy for them long term

Thanks for the response, I was thinking maybe shrimp for the goldies even though they are in a heated, and filtered 29.The betta I will just do the maintanance to keep him clean.

hi for a 29 with goldies i'd probably go with some kind of shrimp, most other bottom feeders i can think of are tropical (otos, kuhlis, cories) that sort of thing, the only other coldwater bottom feeders that i know of are dojo or weather loaches, but they get too big for your 29 and need to be in groups.

a 10 gallon is probably too small for a BN pleco considering that it has such a small footprint, but you might be able to get a clown pleco (they stay a little smaller)

I was reading your stocking list and was wondering what sort of small clean up crew you would suggest for a 29 gallon tank with 2 Goldfish in it, and does anyone put like a small bristlenose pleco in a 10 gallon with a Betta
