Re: My 30 Gallon

what's your normal protocol for adding fish to the tank? If you feel you've done everything correctly, you probably got a fish that was so stressed out that he may not make it...regardless of your introduction. When adding fish to the tank, float the bag in your tank for about 20 minutes. Next, add some of your tank water to the bag (about 1 cup) and re-seal the bag. Wait another 10-15 minutes and repeat this procedure. Repeat this about 3 times total until about 45 minutes total have passed. Then add your fish to the tank with a net. Never dump the bag water into your tank. If you have some Stress Coat, add a few capfuls...depending on the size of your tank. If your fish die after introduction, then there is probably an issue outside of your control. Best of luck with your new pals.
