i am a new member and find this site very helpfull,i have kept tropical fish for years and never had much trouble keeping them,so now i have started a saltwater tank,it has been running now for 3 weeks with just live rock and coral sand ,i am looking forward to putting my first lot of fish in.perhaps in a couple of weeks,could anyone help me has to what fish to start off with.In my tropical tank I have,
4 rams
3 cardinals
1 male blue dwarf gourami
1 female dwarf gourami
1 rasbora
1 of my rams has just had babies

my marine tank is up and running now,having a bit of trouble with algae,its like a black film on the bottom of the sand and on the rocks,can anyone help?

What a handsome pair of rams! And the babies are absolutely adorable ~ and so tiny! I didn't know you could keep rams in that small of a tank, may have to rethink the plans I have for mine that size . . .
