10 Gallon Tank: Then and now

The tank about 4 months ago:

Then all of the vals and moneywort died off. Added easier plants, amazon swords.

then

and now with pennywort and moss balls completed:

1 bristle plant, 1 red lily, 2 bunches of pennywort, 3 amazon swords, and 3 moss balls and some algae due to liquid fertilizer that I now have stopped using. Going to receive some fertilizer tablets soon.

Tank consists of 1 betta, 1 inca snail and 5 otocinclus catfish. They all hide in the log during the day and come out and eat mostly at night.

Looks good! You might have better luck with the pennywort as a floating plant. I have, but not so much when I try to plant it.

and I'm already having some problems with it too. I took them out of the substrate, but tied a rock to each of the plant bunches. Do you think this would work just as well?
