Sweeeeeet! Congratz on the new tank! Like what Shawnie said, do you want a peaceful community or more aggressive fish, like Cichlids?

Ever tried a Jack Dempsey? Chiclids are so full of personality!

Some bleeding heart tetras would also look fantastic in a community tank.

Congrats on the tank! Try this stocking list IMO:

6x Rummynose tetras
6x Cardinals tetras
6x Black Neon Tetras
1x Gourami (pearl/dwalf)

This stocklist should give you a variety of tetras and a bit of space left to add in any other fish? My opinion though

Best of luck and hope to see photos along the way!

Add some different types of tetras, cardinals, black neon, and glow light. All have similar body shapes, yet strikingly different colors. They will most likely all school together, thus creating a very colorful school of tetras. Maybe add a school of Corydoras trilineatus to help keep the bottom clean and add some personality.

Rummynose tetra, Cardinal tetra, Black Widow tetra, Bleeding Heart tetra & maybe some Harlequin Rasboras for contrast. Corys or Khuli Loaches down the bottom or perhaps a couple of Zebra Plecs, (if you provide seperate territories), for some real contrast to the other fish. Some small Rainbowfish or Danios to fill the top area of the tank.
