Well here is my new replacement tank. It has replaced an old plastic tank that was starting to look a bit grubby and come tomorrow will be a betta's new home. This is still a work in progress and a few thing may still be added / removed, so there may be additions later on.

looks faboo!! id only recommend seeing if you can find a tall big silk leafed plant as bettas like to rest at the top of the tank at night to sleep...and as long as none of those decorations will cut his finnage and they are soft, you are great to go!! and the bubbles are from newly filling up the tank..I have a tank going through that now

I love it! Great decorations; I love the 'oceanic' look. Can't wait to see it with the Betta! =D

Beautiful tank! I agree with Shawnie as well. My new boy loves to sleep on top of my submerged filter. I might get him a taller plant one day soon so he can rest there instead Best of luck!

I went and got my lovely betta this morning and also picked up two cory's and another little something for the decor, I did try and get a long plant aswell but they all felt too sharp to put in a betta tank. He is not very photogenic at the moment and they are all busy exploring. This is what the tank now looks like after a bit of alteration:
