My best work on Freshwater

I added some branches and all my fish love them. I did this with my 10 and 20 gallon. It isn't easy finding these that suit the tank perfectly. Don't ground me for still having the pleco. I think I deserve an A+ on this one.

10 gallon tank and an appearance of my SW tank, turtle tank, and my favorite plant outside the tank I named Forest Burst.

Needs More Plants

I will get more plants to fill up the tanks. They give out free plants with the purchase of fish and I plan to buy fish so I will be getting more moss and some other plants. I will try getting plants for the foreground that stand out and some for the sides that are numerous and grow fast. I was thinking of some carpet plants too. I lack high quality pictures but will try getting some and also a video.

Looks great! I especially like the bowl with the plant in it. What kind of plant is it?

Thanks!

I don't know what type of plant that is, I will try finding what it is but it doesn't need much care(not delicate) and grows a lot. I am posting a video soon.

those tanks are definately looking different! make sure your branches arent ones that leak sap tho..and I know you like the look of them, but in the betta tank, id be afraid of him catching his beautiful finnage on them ... especially when they sleep they kinda just lay and float on anything

My Betta has been doing the limbo and I can see that the broken parts of the branches look deadly. Look in post number 10 picture number 3 where the Betta is hanging out with neon tetras and you'll see the deadliness. Those branches are actually behind(outside) the tank but there are branch ends like that inside. I tried to make the biggest threats touch the glass of the tank so they wont be in mid water where the betta can come while I am using the laser pointer and can tear a fin. He is recovering from the torn fins when he had a lot of tank mates. The branches don't release sap or any of that tree residue.

Those branches look really good in there! How did you get them in there? did you soak them? boil them? they look so good it makes me want to put some in my tanks.

I have good branches. Or altleast most of my branches had gone through weathering but I didn't have enough so I cut the ones that didin't have leaves and looked dead and old off the tree that is why they aren't green. I heard this wood doesn't rot from my dad.

It depends on the trees. Some trees have brown branches ( i.e, the ones i used) and rot rather quickly. Where the branches hard before you introduce them to the tank? like, where they hard or bendable?
