Update on 10 gallon

I added a black neon tetra, a neon tetra, and a male guppy. I currently have a betta, blue ram, and a pleco beside those fish. What else can I add. I am trying to take away my pleco and move the betta to a small 2.5 which is only seven dollars. I am also attempting to get some snails from Wal-Mart to replace the pleco. The fish store wouldn't return any fish. I will try to sell it to someone or just give it away if selling doesn't work. I think I made a mistake putting in a black neon tetra. Should it hae been another neon tetra? I want to replace to have more neon tetras and guppies. I recently cleaned the tank and made a mess. That is still part of the update. So my tank looks well stocked but what else can be in there with the pleco gone? I wanted a tiny school of neon tetras and guppies.

For my 10 gallon I wanted a set-up like this 1 dwarf gourami, 5-6 cardinal tetras, and maybe like 2 glass shrimp.

A gourami is a good choice. I wanted a blue gourami. Cardinal Tetras are awesome. I think that would have been a great setup.

Before getting any new fish I would recommend getting the betta out of there, and finding a new home for the pleco...

Yeah I will take im out asap but finding a new home for the pleco will be tough. I know someone who used to own a fish store with an arowana. I heard plecos and arowanas are good tank mates. I hope they might want it. I will have to resort to giving away. I will ask everyone at school and pet store.

Update:

I just wanted everyone to know that my mom doesn't want the betta all alone in one tank and will be impossible to convince her. I already tried. I will try again. I really nned to find a home for the pleco no one wants to take it because the store doesn't have the space. I am searching other places they think something is wrong with it or something because they don't want it.

Tell her bettas love mystery snails. Tell her they make the best of friends. Lol. She'll never know. Or just let her read this thread maybe that will help convince her.

Hmm... If you sent me the pleco, I would take it. But it's sad I live so far away so shipping charges would almost cost as much as getting a new tank for it. I wish I could help, Time Keeper. I'm sure you'll find someone near you who would want a pleco. Just keep trying, don't give up.

Priority Mail Large Box is about 10 bucks!

Post in the Wanted/Sell/Trade section, someone might take the pleco. As for your Betta, let your mom read the Betta profile. Hopefully that'll convince her to move him/her into a isolated tank and have snails too maybe even shrimp.

I know how much costs are to ship but I rather give it close by. I hope someone in my area wants it. I don't want to give it to someone with a large enough tank.
