My Tank Updates

Been a while since I last posted on the forum. I've made changes to my tanks and here they are!

My betta is once again by himself now in a ten gallon. I kept him with a couple of cories and he was fine with them for about a month and then got aggressive. I didn't notice the aggressiveness until I saw parts of the cories' tails missing. Since then one of the cories has made a full recovery and the other still has a ways to go. A betta can sure do a lot in one night..yikes.

For my other tank, I finally had decided to go against the frog species tank and instead put my ADF in with 2 albino cories and 2 green cories. They all live together in harmony. I love it. I can hand feed all of them bloodworms and brineshrimp and they don't mind!

Thanks everyone! The betta usually flares about the time just before I turn off his lights (when his tank is brighter than the room he's in). Thought I should get pics of him then.

thanks everyone!

@MissMTS He really does have a feisty personality. He charges the glass when he sees himself. Other bettas I've seen just flare but he'll charge. I have to be sure I get those lights off early so he doesn't hurt himself... lol.

So today I picked up two aquariums I found on Craigslist for $18 USD total. They include a one gallon kit and a 2.65 gallon kit. Both are brand new. I want to learn how to keep planted tanks and I figured that tanks of this size would be a great start. I don't plan on keeping anything in these tanks seeing as one gallon is WAY to small and 2.65 gallons might be pushing it with a betta.

Both of the tanks include basically everything you need to get it going, and they use fluorescent lighting as a bonus.

Is 2.65 gallons alright with a betta or is that pushing it?
