Right, the new tanks almost ready to be cleaned and moved into place.
It's a lovley fifteen UK gallons that's super mega tall (It's 18"H, 18"L, 12"D)
I'm not too sure on using pure bleach, mainly as I don't trust myself with it. was thinking an old alga scrubber dipped in white vinegar, or a vinegar and water solution to get everything off from the inside. I'll probably just use a cloth soaked in anti-bacterial kitchen surface cleany stuff to do the outside of the tank, and make sure nothing gets in. Will the vinegar work all okay or should I try a different way?
Once I've got it into position, (This could take a while, I have to work out how to get electricity to all the four corners of my bedroom without setting fire to anything, or overloading, AND moving my main tank to a different corner) I plan on doing all the
aquascaping etc, and setting it up.
I've got some TSS, and I plan on using that with the Cories that should be calling the tank home. I use AquaSafe conditioner, so should I just dose the tank with tha as normal, add the cories, then add the right amount of TSS, would that work all okay?
Finally, I was planning on adding a single angel to the tank, but apparently that really wouldn't worked, I'm upset, but, it's for the fishies own sake. (I will get some, eventually, when I replace my bed with a tank...)
I have had another thread about stocking, but most of the fishies suggested I can't source in dear old Englishland. (Gudgeons,
GBR's...)
Anyone any fish to go with Cories? I plan on having three normal ones, or four pgymy's. Anything interesting at all, that's relatively easy for my mum to look after when I'm away.
So, overall, does this sound like a good enough action plan?
And I know it's a sin not to post some nice yummy pictures, but the tanks still in a garage
hanks all
