New Tank. Great deal and good stuff

Well found a tank on craigslist about a week ago and went to see it because the person didn't sound knowledgeable enough over the phone. So he tells me the tank includes tank, solid wood stand glass top 4 lights(2 white- 2 black), ton of River rock and 2 pumps. All these for $225. I ask him about filters and he said i don't have any and the fish are doing fine. So I go there to see this tank and is a 100 gal on a unfinished solid oak stand and then he proceeds to show me the pumps hahaha. The pumps were to my surprise a Magnum 350 and a HOT Magnum. I said on my head Bingo. So I tell the guy I take it when can you have it ready for pick up. (is full and had fish in it) he said if you wait 45 mins. So ok let me go to the ATM. So here are a few pics of the tank and the stand in the process of refinishing and cleaning. Enjoy I'am.

He gave them to the wife to take them to the vet office that she work. they have a tank there. They were beautiful big fish too but they were S. Cichlids and two 8" plecos too much for me. Thanks.

Ohh, really nice! I might try and build my own stand... under supervision and knowledge my father has with woodworking so the stand would be strong enough. But great find!

Nice tank man! I wish I could find a deal as good as this here too! Still searching! haha I'm hoping to get a 55 gallon or more to put Archers in it! But again, nice tank! I love the stand! Interesting design. They don't have those kind of designs here unless I haven't seen any here. Well done on the search and good luck!

MEGUZTAUNAPEZ926 I'm moving my A. Cichlids into this bigger tank. Since I got 18 more 2 weeks ago but they are still little ones. They will need room to grow and make there own. Thanks everybody.

What a deal!!! I was feeling pretty good about my 80g w/ stand (and extras that all got thrown out) for $150, lol.

Update on the tank.

I finished cleaning the tank and now I'm masking the glass to paint the trim around the tank. Also cleaned the filters and have them running in water with a bit of bleach and changing the water every hour.

There is a spray paint that's safe for fishtanks... but I can't remember the name of it right now

I didn't know that. I just use regular cheap walmart paint. That's how I did the 55 gal too. It works good and dry fast.
