Hey guys,

Here's pics of my 29gal community. My current stocking list is as follows:

1 Rainbow Shark
1 BN Pleco
6 Serpae Tetra
4 Zebra Danios

All the plants are live. It contains:

Java Moss
Anacharis
An unidentified plant (maybe a crypt or sword??...if anyone can identify it that would be amazing!)

The current lighting is a single 20W bulb, but will hopefully be upgrade to a 4x T5 system as a bday present to myself. Any tips suggestions on plants I should add? I'm thinking an anubias gigante...or something with broad leaves. Also I want to add a few more fish...

I also had an emergency with my pack of serpae's attacking my Bolivian I had in my 29g...so my 10 has now become home to my female Bolivian and a small angel I rescued. It's planted simply with anacharis and java moss

Nice looking tank. I had to weight down my wood with stones too as you're doing.
As for identifying plants. Lets wait till someone with more plant experience reads your post.
I'll bet your close to capacity for fish. Rainbows can grow up to 6". BN Pleco 5". 6-Serpae Tetra at 1.5=9". 4 Zebra Danios X2"=8". That's 28" of fish. I'd work on your plants to decorate, personally.

i know im close to capacity for fish, but I have been testing my water twice a week with the API master kit, doing weekly water changes of approx 10-25%. I try to keep the water pristine. I am want to finish planting at the moment, then maybe look into overstocking a lil. Whenever the danios are most active and zipping around...everyone in the tank looks more happy, so i have been thinking of adding some sort of high energy dither fish. Cardinals/Neons? ...something fast without long fins. Long fins are lunch to my wolf pack of serpaes...the things are like piranhas

and about the rocks...i started off not liking it, but its grown on me a lot. they create 3 caves that my rainbow has staked claim to, so i might keep them there when the wood sinks for his enjoyment

You know I'm overstocked. But I change my water out at least 40% 2-3 times a week. I've got discus that require it also because I'm so stocked.
Neons seem weak lately. I haven't heard anything good and strong about those fish from LFS. Hmmmm, my Cardinals are doing great, sometimes they're hard to find, also they like to be in groups to school. You'd have to get at least 5 I would say. What else would be cool? . . .

dwarf gouramis? maybe a neon blue or flame...
i'm gonna add some endlers to my 10gal once that angel is rehabed and rehomed, but i don't think they will do will with the serpaes.
i want something with a little color...

any plant recommendations?

any ideas for colorful active fish? and/or low light plants?
