hi im newbie to discus and this is my tank so far... its just set up i have to add the water and cycle for what seems to be all my life but im sure the layout will soon change,,,,,

any ideas will be appreciated!!!

It looks good so far. More plants would look nice, but I don't know about discus and what type of tank they prefer.

awesome tank ...I love the bows...do you have any other tanks established? if so, just use some media, gravel, and deco to get the new one going

looks cool yea lots of live plants would look cool with a school of cardinals or neons! to go with the discus

Hi love the tank what make is it or did you have it made.Cabinet looks good too !!.I would like to own Discus snakeskin variety esp.I like the minimalist look not sure whether I would plant it out ? the effect ot the colour of your substrate and interesting driftwood and a plant or two would look good. : )

All fish from the amazon area prefer lots of plants and driftwood. So discus, angelfish, keyholes and severums could all be in the same tank if Discus weren't a tad bit harder to keep due to the temps they like for breeding and more water changes. Which is why most people keep them in species only tank.
