The new bulbs are a big improvement.

I really love the general feel of your tank! Your gravel reminds me of lava, and the whole ruins theme really makes it look good. You have some great lookin' fish as well!

How long has it been set up?

It's very beautiful, as are the fish. Great job! What is that small, round, mossy-looking plant?

Thanks for all the compliments!

Je55*e, that's probably the java moss you're talking about.

I've gotten some new additions since I last posted, among them a male pearl gourami. I thought I was going to have to put him in the 29 and give up the idea of a 3-spot, but my powder blue dwarf surprised me and is playing nice. I'm going to give it a month or two before I "fill the void" in the 29, but I'm really happy that I have a happy tank with 5 gouramis as of now. Maybe a moonlight is to come...

Magnum (that's his name lol) has been wonderful thus far. He was a bit skittish when I added him to the tank as all my dwarfs checked him out with their "feelers", but eventually he checked them out too and all has been well. He pretty well keeps to himself and doesn't bother anyone, which is in line with all information I've read about pearls. Let me know how it goes!

Very nice pearl, they have such wonderful colors when the light strikes them just right.

Just an update, my baby girls are here!!!! 2 female dwarf gouramis that I ordered online...they're still floating in their bags, but hopefully I'll be able to get pics later today. I hope my boys are nice to them...they really do look like babies...about half the size of my males who are almost fully grown. I also got 2 male guppies for my tank at school and some zebra loaches.

No sadly, I haven't been able to get my hands on them yet. These are a neon blue female and a "standard" pattern female. They're very shy though, so I haven't been able to get pictures of them yet.
