Fauna:
8 Long Fin Rosy Barbs, 13 Zebra Danios, 13 Cardinal Tetras, 1 Rainbow Shark, 1 Common Plece (about 12" now), 3 Corys, 1 Emerald & 2 Albinos, 3 Botia Sidthmunki, 12 Otos
Yeah, it's overstocked, but nothing is real mature yet and though I love the pleco, I've had him over 8 years, I plan to rehome him since I dearly want a heavily planted tank and he's been murder on the more delicate plants...the dwarf hairgrass has about disappeared, he uproots some of the others from time to time. I'll replace him with a small pleco species.
Flora:
Swords, Red Melon, Amazon, Micro another I forgot to get the name of; Java & Frilled Java Fern; Anubus nana & hastifolia; Dwarf Sag; Dwarf Hair Grass; Red ludwegia; Water Sprite; Crypt wendtii; 4 Leaf Clover
FINALLY!
It's been since early May that I posted, requesting advice as I was commencing the setup of my new tank.
Job and a rural lifestyle with lots of projects this summer kept me from posting but I logged on and read posts on subjects I wanted/needed more information.
Anyway, the tank has been fully stocked for over a month now. Over all I had mostly success, thanks to the good information found here and elsewhere, plus the 15 or so years experience (not consecutive) with a 20g tank.
Hopefully I'll have time to write about the lessons (2 hard ones but most good) learned during cycling, stocking and so on.
Anyway here are a few pice to get started:
The 90G about 2 months before full stocking
Here's the Quarantine Tank
My "anchor species" The LF Rosy barbs
Driftwood I hope to add to the 90G in the future...if it ever gets waterlogged enough. It's been soaking for 3 months now and while much heavier it's still bouyant.
