What a nice piece of drift wood, goes perfectly with the gravel. I always hated those Whisper internal filters though, they always screw with the aesthetics of a tank. They take up alot of space too.

I really don't like it either, but I can't find anything else small enough! Any suggestions?

My 2.5 has a Whisper HOB 5-15. The water current is medium. ( I believe that they just label it for sales purposes, and not for its TRUE filterability.)

I put Azoo palm filters on the 2.5g tanks.

It looks Good So far however you might want to add some other plants like silk plants it will provide a contrast with the dark rocks

I came across Whispers filters before. I don't hate their filters or anything but some models make a lot of noise after a month or two! They shouldn't have called it whispers in the first place.

Looks awesome! If you want to give him more space, try to get a small HOB filter if you can. That would give it more swimming room. It still looks good though IMO.. I like it!!!

i got one once for my 20 gallon casue it was like 7 bucks cheaper, and i had the room it takes up also

Well the internal filter came with the tank, but I am definately considering getting a HOB filter if I can find one small enough for a 2.5g tank.
