Aww I love Ryukins! They have such sweet, fat little faces. Ah, this makes me miss my fantails.

Very cool-looking tank!

I would vote for this tank to be "tank of the month" sometime. I am saying that because it is the perfect example of a goldie space! a coldwater tank, 30 gallsns with two fishies! (20 for the first goldfish, 10 for the second).

Not quite perfect: Goldies prefer lateral swimming space to vertical swimming space.

Still, I agree that this should be going in "tank of the month". It is a gorgeous tank, and one of few quality goldfish setups that I've ever seen (even I don't have one, though that's due to a previous mistake, and will soon be rectified).

Thumbs up all the way.

Thanks for all the comments guys. I am going to submit this for tank of the month due to your suggestions. Sad to say, this tank is currently up for sale. With energy costs through the roof I had to get rid of at least one of my setups and this is the only one I could part with. I also have a 70 gallon cummunity (that won fish tank of the month in November) a 29 in my son's room, and the 10 gallon planted in my daughter's room. I couldn't take theirs away from them.

Thanks for the comments anyway.

Lovely tank set up! I love the goldfish!...
I would love to have a 55g goldfish tank someday. But I keep coming across cool tropical fish to buy instead. But I really like goldies... and I hear they are so easy to keep!
I agree with the other posters, you should enter that photo in the tank of the month contest.
Sorry to hear that you have to give it up tho.(The economy is getting everyone down these days!) What are you going to do with your goldfish then?

I'm sorry you live so far away from me, or I'd buy the tank and fish from you.

I'm working on a 55 gallon goldie tank. Long term project. I'm planning on stocking it with a few black moors.

I am hoping that who ever buys the tank will take the fish. If not I will return them to my LFS. They are pretty good about accepting strays.

Love the tank and wish I could buy it from you with the Goldies. I'd like to start up a Goldie tank.
