First Post....First Tank since I was a child trying to keep a carnival fish alive in a one gallon bowl...
60 Gallon
2 Fancy Goldfish (Goldie - Big one and Redhead - Little one)
1 Common Goldfish (Carnie - He's a carnival fish that was won at one of those carnival games)
1 Cory Cat (Haim)
1 Albino Cory (Feldman) get it? the two Cories?
2 Common Plecos (No Names, but they're really starting to grow on us)
1 Yellow Molly (No Name, just call it Molly)
1 Lyretail (Whitey...you'll see why)
3 Australian Rainbow (No Names, the two big ones are just nicknamed Hardcore because they survived our ignorance of the cycle originally and have survived everything the tank has been thru since December)
5 Kuhli Loaches (Would name them if I could tell them apart)
I know that I am overstocked but I just added 4 of the loaches and one of the plecos are probably going to go back or we may give the Goldies and one of the plecos it's own tank...here's some pics:
The first pick is Goldie, the second is little goldie and the mollies.
Third pick is the "Too fast to take a good picture Australian Rainbows"
4th pick is the tank before the redecoration bug hit us and the last pick is the most recent.
Fish
...seriously that's my name...I'm not making that up for this forum...it's my birth name...you'd think I'd be better at this aquarist thing with a name like that
Just incase you wanted to know, since I have noticed you have lots of lucky bamboo, I think it needs to have its leaves above the water to grow...
I think someone else here can prob. back me up...
Okay, I did my little research topic and found that I'm an idiot for thinking that bamboo would grow underwater, even though the biggest stick of it has survived in my tank since December...looks like they are all getting yanked tomorrow. as for the little plants in the corner, I'm not sure exactly sure what they are called, but when we redecorated the tank they both had reasonably healthy looking roots, but then again, virtually everything I've purchased from the tank has come from a Petsmart/petco and we all know how great they are at giving good advice and proper procedures. Thanks for the heads up and the trip back to reality...
You should probably give your plecos and goldfish their own tank, because goldfish are cold water anyways, and are in with some tropical fish. Nice tank!
